Re: Avoiding Barriers to Communication
How to Avoid Barriers to Communicate;
Dear team,
I am writing to tell you how to avoid barriers to communication. The barriers of communication are;
- wrong format
- wrong target
- technical breakdown
- no feedback
- wrong channel
- attitude towards sender
- receiver unable to understand
- poor timing
- unclear message
10. use of jargon
Ways to avoid them;
- Make sure that you use the right format (eg. Email or telephone)
- Make sure that you follow your objectives to stay on track to complete them.
- Back up files to blog/memory stick, in case laptop/computer cuts out.
- Ask For Feedback.
- Check that you sending it in the right way (eg. Telephone, email...)
- Make sure that you are paying attention, or just look interested.
- Make sure that your message is sent in a way the receiver can understand. Or explain what its about
- Make sure you send/say something at the right time, so that the receiver will receive the message
- Make sure the message that is sent, is clear, and able to be read
10. Check your use of language before sending.
